Definitions
In this agreement “MA” refers to Mission Accomplished Lifestyle Management company of 134 Birmingham Road, Lichfield WS14 9BW; “mission” or “tasks” or “services” refers to the work the customer requires taking care of; “supplier” means a third party which Mission Accomplished has engaged on your behalf, such as a cleaner.
General Terms
You have engaged MA to perform certain services on your behalf, which may include the arrangement of services by a supplier. Every effort will be made to ensure that suppliers are reputable and trustworthy. MA will not be liable under this agreement for any loss or damage caused by suppliers nor for poor performance. Any contract for work by a supplier will be between you and the supplier only. Suppliers’ charges for the performance of services will at all times be payable by you, unless we have agreed otherwise.
Whilst every care will be taken by MA when obtaining and presenting products, services or other information to you, the Company is merely passing on existing information, services or products. MA do not make any representations as to the accuracy, completeness or validity of such information, services or products.
The charges for tasks carried out by MA are set out in the ‘Price List’. Quotes for blocks of work will be given in writing and you will be required to put your signature on such a quote to agree to those costs. Tasks may be added together to make up an hour’s charges. Reasonable expenses will be added to quotes to cover petrol, car parking charges, telephone calls etc as appropriate. Receipts will be provided along with your bill.
MA will rely on the details in the ‘Client & Mission Details’ form, completed at the time of engagement, in order to complete a task. If any changes are required, these should be put in writing or sent as an email for confirmation.
In the event that you engage MA to carry out tasks in your home, you agree to give reasonable access to MA and to suppliers so that the task(s) may be carried out.
MA shall not be liable to you if any document obtained by them on your behalf is subsequently found not to be genuine (eg concert ticket). However, MA shall use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that such documents are genuine.
MA endeavours to provide a high quality service to you. If at any time you are unhappy with service you have received, please ensure that you notify MA immediately. Complaints against suppliers should be addressed directly with them but MA should also be made aware that a complaint has been made so that we may assess the suitability of that supplier for future tasks.
Payment Terms
Cash or cheques accepted within fourteen days of a mission/task being completed. Advance payment/deposit may be required in some cases – this will be discussed as appropriate. Standing Orders may be set up for regular payment of time and tasks.
Cancellation
No fees will be charged for cancellation of pre-arranged appointments, up to 24 hours before appointment. If notice is less than 24 hours, a £5 charge will be made. If a task is part-completed, you will be charged for time and expenses relating to that task up to the time of cancellation.
Non-completion of Tasks by MA
MA will use its best endeavours to complete tasks. If MA is unable to complete a task due to unforeseeable circumstances, charges will be made for time spent and expenses incurred, and arrangements made for alternative solutions as appropriate.
Public Liability & Carriage of Goods
Appropriate insurance is in force with Zurich/Eagle Star Insurance Company.
Information Held and Confidentiality
Your contact details and information on the work carried out will be held on computer and in paper files. No information about you nor the requests for work to be carried out will be passed to third parties without your agreement.
Price List
By the hour - £20.00
Blocks of time 5 hours - £90
10 hours - £175
(Travel) Expenses - 40p per mile
Car parking fees and other expenses incurred will be added to your bill as appropriate.
Payment Terms
